The Presence of a Holy God

God has made His presence manifest in a variety of ways throughout Biblical history. A burning bush, a pillar of fire, etc. While the means of revelation changed, one thing did not: "Without [holiness], no one will see the Lord" (Hb 12:14). That, my friend, is bad news, since we are told that literally no one can obtain perfect holiness (Rom. 3:23). But God loved us enough to make a way for unholy sinners to be made right with him (Jn 3:16). This song is a look at the terribly intimidating, yet graciously condescending triune God Who sent His own Son to pay the price for the sins of His elect and Who sends the Holy Spirit to revive us from our spiritual death and give us faith and strength.
